Arcadia Pickleball and Pool Fun
This Arcadia project revolved around the client’s wishes to create both a beautiful and fun environment for their children and friends and also a space to entertain (adult) friends and family.
Some of the more fun elements include a custom pool with a jump platform, a basketball + pickleball court, and a built-in trampoline.
Entertainment-centric elements include the bbq/kitchen space with a raised counter and bar seating, a fire pit with built-in seating, and the focal point of the space, the pavilion. This structure provides a central and shaded space to kick-back and relax, whether that’s watching the kids play in the pool or tuning into a game or movie while enjoying a brew from the kegerator built into the counter.
The plants and materials chosen represent a mixture of classic Arcadia such as oaks and dwarf olives, and travertine and white painted brick, while also exhibiting some fresh, transitionary elements such as grasses and cacti, concrete, and sharp, clean lines.
All in all, this fun project was a great example of the potential of what a backyard space can become. This Arcadia backyard exemplifies the seamless blend of indoor & outdoor spaces, a feature highly sought after by our clients. We’re excited to know that this space will provide fun and enjoyment for many years to come.
